November 16, 2009

Well first i would like to say this saturday is transfer calls. Another 6 weeks gone. And tomorrow here in Japan is the 18th so im not 20 yet ha. Well if you can get some extra things in the next box that would be great. Pro Srength Old Spice With talc,Fatty sharpie and ultra fine sharpies, this one i dont need but the mission pres said it would be a good idea to learn some kind of easy instrument and to buy one here cheap or get one sent, so we can participate in ward activities more. So if you have any ideas of easy instuments to learn and cheap ones let me know or send something with stuff on how to learn it please.
Well i hope Breggie made it, she seems like she has improved alot from what i have heard. Dad is just old, put him in a home ha just kidding.
The investigator has been busy so we havent met with him to teach more since the last lesson. But he comes to church so thats good. He still has the date set for the 22 but its not gunna happen since we cant meet as often as we would like. HA yea companions, probably the most interesting part of the mission, ill just leave it at that. I havent been in a potugese ward. All wards here are either japanese or english depending on what area you are in. This ward might as well be portugese though since about half the members are from brazil.
Well the member that had me make the pinata, aske me to make like a breast plate armor thing like in one of the pictures for captain moroni. WHAT THE FREAK!?! ha he gave me cardboard and paint andd said ill be back in about 30 minutes. I made it, but i cant paint worth junk so he did that, it turned out good.
yea our ward mission leader in this ward is brazilian so our ward mission council or what ever it is, is all in portugese, so im left out of the loop a lot here, I kinda want to get transfered to someplace i can help more. and be involved with things more.
One good thing, well actually 2, that i think are the best things that have happened on my mission so far. We have been working with 2 LA. One a 19 yr old boy, who stopped reading and coming to church. The other an older man. The boy came to church like 3 weeks ago, and i have to sit with him anytime he comes, but i talked to him when we sang i held the hymn book in front of both of us but he wouldnt sing. For 2 or 3 weeks he would come in street clothes and do the same, but this last sunday he came in a suit, he took the hymn book from my hands and started singing, it was great. Then the older man, he hasnt been to church in at least a month, and we have been going once a week and sharing messages, and this last sunday he came. NOW i know what Jesus said about leaving the 90 and 9 and looking for the 1. And when you find the one you come back rejoicing.
Thats about all though,
Love you so much!
Elder PR Coffey
